As a proud supporter of the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation, Re/Max Realty Professionals agents donate a portion of their earnings to the Janeway. This year our combined total was $9330.00. We are very proud to be a part of a wonderful fundraiser.

As stated in the VOCM News, “For only the second time in the Janeway Telethon’s 33-year history, donations surpassed the $3-million mark. This weekend’s event eclipsed the record that was set two years ago.

People from across the province, country and around the world stepped up in a big way, donating a staggering $3.4-million.

For three hours on Saturday night and ten hours today, hundreds of volunteers from six locations across Newfoundland and Labrador were connected by the broadcast on NTV.

The President and CEO of the Janeway Foundation, Lynn Sparks, called it an amazing accomplishment.”

Our very own Dave Elms with Corner Brook Re/Max has been one of the co-hosts involved with the broadcasting on the West Coast for many years. During the broadcast our Broker/Owner Carol Anstey and family as well as the Re/Max agents gathered at the City Hall to present the donation from our offices. Carol has been a long time supporter of the Janeway and its fundraising efforts and graciously topped up the donation making it a grand total of $10,000.00.
